This art web log is not designed as art essays in the formal sense but simply as tongue in cheek observations, reflections and curiosities of the creative world (and beyond) without edits. Hope you enjoy and thanks for dropping in.

Each web log contains one song lyric from my catalog. A written reflection on its origins and a secure link to the song. Why? All this material has been written from different lifetimes. Different versions of myself, surroundings, circumstances and people in my life. I've always been superstitious when analyzing my own work and continue to be so. Chew on it too much and the brush breaks. Hence, this will be an uncomfortable cathartic archival journey on one hand and on the other: a ridiculously rewarding opportunity to laugh at myself, rejoice with those I worked with and recall those folks and landscapes that inspired the pen and melody with love, self-conscious cringe, tears of joy and no doubt, some bittersweet sadness. And the best part of this process I expect- a reiteration and reminder of the gestural innate silliness of art. Why it means nothing and everything. What relief. What pressure.
This is a deep dive to places I never go. Our lives are archives. I'm doing this for my daughters. But if you enjoy the story through my music please subscribe and come along for the ride.
